Preface
On the morning of Friday, December 26, 2014, during prayer, God impressed the following thought upon my mind: “Why don’t you self-publish with Amazon?” Although I had been eagerly preparing Bible studies and sending them by email to those who wished to receive them, the thought of writing a book had never occurred to me.
I was delighted with the prospect of such a project and I immediately started to do research on the Internet to find out what exactly was self-publishing and how did one go about it. That was almost five years ago.
I originally thought of writing one book, suitable for everyone, with indispensable knowledge that would lead to their gaining paradise and everlasting life. This was and still is my passion in life—to cause people to come to know God and to delight in Him as I do.
I had no idea how to go about writing a book. I started with a brief outline and began to write in an attempt to imitate the structure of the Bible. The first year of writing, 2015, proved to me that it was impossible for me to copy God’s manner of writing in the Bible for only infinite wisdom could have devised it.
So, I started over from scratch in 2016. Since, then my progress has been slow but steady, as I needed to do much Bible study in order to be able to write with confidence and accuracy on many of the book’s topics.
Over the years, I was able to collect bit by bit a few points about writing a book from seemingly endless internet searches and studies, but all in all it was God who has taught me what I needed to know. It has been a precious, blessed journey of daily learning from God and writing down in this book what God has made clear to me.
It was only in July, 2019 that I realised that all that I wanted to say and that needed to be said, could not fit into one book. Therefore, what was initially going to be just one book will now be a number of book series and standalone books.
This first book presents a context for the Christian faith and also focusses on two key milestones—justification and sanctification—for anyone who wishes to gain everlasting life. It lays an important and necessary foundation for understanding God and the Bible, and this is why I have chosen these topics for my first book. These are topics that are only vaguely understood, if at all, by the world at large and even Christians.
This book shares the knowledge that I have gained in my over 17 years of practical experience as a Christian, and gained by reading the Bible from its beginning to the end eleven times, conducting daily Bible study, and most of all, gained by being taught by God. I believe that my perspective, insights, and unique voice, is urgently needed in the world today.
After reading this book, I hope that you will be inspired to take the appropriate steps to gaining paradise and everlasting life.

Preface to the Second Edition
The second edition of Victory in Christian Warfare is essentially the same as the first edition. The first thing you might notice is that in paperback format it is smaller in size. Also, the book is now available in hardcover format. As regarding the contents of the book, changes have been made to make the book clearer and more accurate with some additional material, particularly in Chapter 13.
